Rice Medical Center Laboratory is a trusted laboratory partner providing quality medical lab tests as a diagnostic aid to physicians in a timely manner and serving the community by:

• Offering Outpatient services 8a-5p; however, if needed, it can be arranged for Outpatients to be collected earlier or later, just call to schedule.
• Offering drug screening services to the employers in the community so potential employees don’t have to drive out of town.
• Collection service for Lab tests that must go to other labs for insurance or other diagnostic purposes.
• Accept lab orders from any physician with a proper NPI number, no need to drive out of town for fasting labs that couldn’t be collected at a doctor’s visit.
• Offering discounted rates on the 2nd Tuesday of the month on specific lab tests for anyone that needs them. For the offered tests, please click: “Monthly Health Screen“. Rice Medical Center lab is staffed by competent licensed technicians and is accredited by COLA.

RMC Lab offers a variety of in-house testing with advanced instrumentation in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis and Coagulation for timely testing.

RMC Lab also offers transfusion services for patients in need of Blood Products.
